So much has happened since I last posted.  Well, yeah, it's been three years... where have I been?  Well...I've had two surgeries - more on that later.  What brought me back here was...

Herb died.  His family called to tell me, even though it had been three years since I worked in the community where Herb lived.  I went to his memorial service on Easter Sunday, 3/31/13  He had just celebrated his 98th birthday, and he had come back strong after a serious stroke three years earlier.  He was a fighter, and yet he was a gentle and loving man.  I will miss him.
